SITUATION:

The busy St. Paul hotel's entrance was a problematic site for outdoor decor. Harsh weather conditions — recurring winter storms and harsh winds — along with city vandalism opted for the strongest exterior furnishings. Commercial Silk Int'l was contracted to landscape the building's entrance with outdoor artificial topiaries as well as provide artificial trees inside for the hotel's amenities.

INITIATIVES:

Outdoor Boxwood Topiary Plants were selected to reinforce the hotel's charming decor. Because our outdoor artificial plants are built into a concrete base, they can withstand the winter storms and unpleasant winds. In addition, the weight of the boxwood topiary bases would prevent potential thieves from stealing the plant containers or even the boxwood topiary balls.

RESULTS:

The Crowne Plaza Hotel team was pleased that our outdoor topiaries offered so many solutions while maintaining their property furnishings. The boxwood topiary plants offer a touch of class as well as solving the problems this outdoor landscape challenged.
