A secret underground urban lounge inspired both by English sculpture gardens and turn of the century Paris brasseries needed a makeover, and Commercial Silk Int’l was sourced to provide silk boxwood wall panels to grace the entrance stairs and bar area.
initiatives:
The boxwood topiary plants heighten an alluring atmosphere akin to a scene pulled from Alice in Wonderland replete with oversized chairs, mystical lighting, floating umbrellas, and murals and mirrors that trick the eye into believing there are enchanted forests and hallways just within reach. Rooms are connected by columns covered with the boxwood wall plants, which offer a contrasting texture to the bright furniture and other wall decorations.
results:
The silk boxwood panels succeeded in providing essential character to an unusual restaurant theme. The boxwood panels were shipped in square shaped mats and tiled together and installed by restaurant decorators.
