situation:
Administrators at Southeast Missouri State University wanted to utilize indoor pool landscaping to help transform their aquatic center from a normal pool area to a lively tropical experience. Already fitted with a water slide, hot tub, zip line, climbing wall, and rope swing, the aquatic center was only lacking the indoor artificial plants and trees required to complete the environment.
initiatives:
Providing artificial palm trees specified by the building architect, Commercial Silk Int'l value engineered the design to meet the University's budget while strengthening the impact of the indoor pool landscaping environment. To make sure that any on-site modifications would adhere to the architectural vision, a Commercial Silk Int’l team spearheaded the installation of the artificial plants and trees and accompanying artificial bushes and lilies.
results:
The strategic positioning of the faux tropical plants and trees helped create a convincing and authentic tropical themed pool landscape, which provided students with an escape from school pressures and a fun means for socializing with fellow co-eds.
