5 steps to making a beautiful faux garden

Boxwood Mat Foliage hspace=

As we have been discussing at length the different artificial foliage types and faux plant varieties we have been giving tips on how they can be used in a practical sense. Today we will get back into those practicalities, and further expand on the ideas you may already have. The more information you have will help you be better prepared when the time comes and you finally have the products in front of you. The worst thing would be to have everything laid out ready to go and then no idea how to execute. That is why we will go into just some simple steps for making a garden as practical and presentable as possible. We will talk about different flower varieties that commonly are found and work within a garden setting. Another important part is to OK into topiaries and the different varieties that are offered. Even if you are planning on only making a small garden created from flowers, it is always good to at least try topiaries as they can make a huge difference in many settings. We will look into faux hedges as well and see just how important they can be in making gardens go from something expected to something unique. These tips will be a great help for you when just starting to come up with a plan on how to spruce up your lawn. Let us not waste anymore time and jump right into it!

Step 1. Finding the right flowers

Whether this is a brand new garden with just bare soil or you are supplementing the garden with additional plants, you have to do some preliminary research because of the wide variety of faux flowers that are out there. The appearance faux flowers give to a garden is special, especially when using the high quality material flowers from Commercial Silk International. Here is a list of our most popular artificial flower varieties that can be utilized outside in a garden: anthurium, heliconia, orchid, calla lily, dahlia, peony, hydrangea, ranunculus, and of course many more. With the help of our experienced project managers you can get a complete run down and also some other more specific answers as to how to make them last indefinitely. Having the right color scheme is the most important part when picking faux flowers, but also looking at how dense or minimalist your garden is will also play a role into your final decision.

Step 2. Looking at the various topiaries

As mentioned before, even if you are not planning on using topiaries within your garden it is always good to at least know what options are out there. The greatest attribute of faux topiaries is that once installed there is no additional work to be done. With authentic topiaries you are constantly watering, trimming, and pruning to keep them in the same condition as when you purchased them. So if you are the fence (no pun intended) about putting within your garden space then hopefully that will give you extra incentive. You can have either ball, cone, or spiral topiaries that adorn your garden and each of these comes with their own unique set of qualities in terms of visual aesthetic. Ball topiaries are smaller and would fit well in a minimalist garden with not too much going on. Cone topiaries are a lot larger, depending on what size you end up going with, so they fit well with larger gardens or gardens that have an abundance of plants. Faux spiral topiaries will be used in a similar fashion to cone topiaries as they are usually tall and narrow. However, artificial spiral topiaries are more unique and provide a more modern look.

Step 3. Contemplating hedges

Now if you were not considering topiaries maybe you were looking into hedges, as they are a more common decor piece for landscapes. We at Commercial Silk International specialize in hedges and have been a leading provider of artificial hedges for many years now so using our expertise if this is a option for you would be best. Get a hold of our project managers with the dimensions of your garden and we will be able to get a quote to you for an artificial hedge. We offer many different varieties that you can build the hedge from; boxwood, azalea, pearl grass, juniper, and ivy. With these options and the customization we provide you are sure to find something to work within your garden.

Step 4. Layout the design

Now that you have a good idea of the options available to you and what you what to purchase, you can now go further into the design process. Using the help of our project managers and your own ideas you should be able to come up with this fairly quickly since you have most the hard work done already. The amount of time spent on this step is hopefully minimal as this will be sometimes the more stressful part of the design process.

Step 5. Install and review

Lastly, you will get the products and then begin installing them. For faux flowers you can even stick the plastic stems in the ground itself for a slightly permanent setting, or put them in a decorative pot to stay for good. Usually customers opt for the pot as it provides a better visual appeal. This also goes for the topiaries if you choose to incorporate them. They will all come in a black plastic pot that can be transferred into a larger more decorative planter. For hedges we provide various baseboard treatments that coincide with the garden you put them in. Most the time wood or metal will be used in an outdoor setting, and both of these baseboards can be painted to be any color you choose, giving you total freedom.

These steps will make the process for creating a more beautiful garden with artificial flowers while also making the process that much easier.

Reducing your environmental impact with faux plants

Artificial Hanging Plants hspace=

In today’s blog we will go over some things we have already discussed previously in regards to how the world around us is changing and what we as individuals can do to help. In today’s world we are experiencing more and more change in terms of weather than we have ever seen before. It has become commonplace for us to see heat records break every summer, and snow end up in areas it never has been before. These changes have been happening for several years now, and it seems as though we are becoming conditioned and used to it. Think back to the hottest summer you’ve experienced real quick. Now, it was probably recent maybe three summers ago or less. If you were to go back 3 years you probably would have a different summer in mind and think of that as “the hottest summer EVER”. It’s a pattern where we get so used to the temperature and changes that we don’t even realize that it’s changing. Even more, we are forgetting the fact that the reason for these changes are never good, and that we are a huge part of it. It doesn’t matter if you believe in global warming or not, you can still clearly see in other ways how with so many people on this earth we are going to start tapping out it’s resources. Or even worse, we as a collective people are going to continue to make the same wasteful decisions until we realize there is no going back. The crazy thing about it all is that it wouldn’t take much if everyone did their part. The green movement has been a great tool to get most everyone at least THINKING about their carbon footprint. With more awareness people are really starting to think about the decisions they make, and the more people do this the better. One area we can see this is when people grocery shop. People have started using reusable bags versus the standard plastic or paper ones that end up getting thrown out anyways. This has been a frantic trend in the way people shop and live, and even though it may seem small. Another trend the world has really taken onto is the way they eat. Preserving natural resources is important and that is not limited to just water, trees, and the land in general. The ecosystem as a whole is our natural resource so animals are definitely imperative to us just like the climate is. The trends have always been there in terms of food, but as the millennial generation continues to grow and become more of a force within society we are seeing more changes to how people eat food. Restaurants who offer all-natural locally based food products are gems within any community they are apart of. Urban farms have been and continue to be a trend in many cities, and as the people who tend them impart the same values to their children it will be an endless and rewarding cycle. Using authentic and real food is a something that is important for our health and for future generations. That is not so much the case when it comes to landscaping and plant decorations however, as authentic plants essentially waste our most precious resource. As a millennial it angers me to see the amount of water put into making the front of a lawn look pretty. I understand people want something to look presentable and that is far to some degree. There are homeowners and businesses though that dump thousands and thousands of gallons of water into their lawn and landscaping projects with the only benefit being themselves. I hope that as we grow into this new world with it’s many changes that these selfish habits will go away, especially for appearances sake. With artificial plants these people can keep their lawn appearances with less work, more longevity, and overall being a less expensive. The benefits of artificial plants is endless, and adding to the fact that they don’t need water makes it a near perfect solution. People who have large authentic landscapes will be happy too, even if it’s not the real thing. The amount of money spent on watering those types of landscapes is astronomical. Since the recession and housing collapse of 2008 many families and individuals have been looking for ways to cut back on spending. I believe a huge change for people and their lawns would be to make the switch from authentic plants to artificial. There are numerous benefits when it comes to using artificial as they tend to last a lot longer and require less work, but the savings on money and water usage is huge as well. We must realize that technology is growing rapidly and every year it seems like something new is coming out that we never expected to see in our lifetime. Now granted, a lot of that comes from the technology sector but as time goes on we could see these fake plants becoming more and more beneficial as well. If people made the switch now and never looked back it would benefit our world and make a huge impact on the spending habits and stigmas people have on landscaping. Yes, landscaping looks great and makes a one-of-a-kind impression on people. However, it is not the most important thing in the world especially when we are destroying forests and then building gardens in our small backyard. Using artificial plants can help us cut back on natural resources and make for a better future and world for the people who inherit it after us.

Living in extreme heat: The benefit of artificial trees

Japanese Maple Tree hspace=

With summer approaching we will continue along with the topic of weather and more specifically, heat. Many of our customers deal with extreme heat year round, and it greatly impacts their decision of switching from authentic plants to artificial. When plants are under constant sunlight and heat they require far greater attention, which means a lot more watering and also taking care to protect them from too much sun. Authentic plants become even more difficult to care for if you are California resident. With the new laws in place that put a hold on various water consuming activities, it is almost impossible to have a landscape that is completely natural. The struggle with hat stems a lot from the recent weather changes that have taken place around the world. With temperatures seemingly rising every year these issues of water and heat exposure will continue. In the United States alone people are becoming more and more aware of this phenomenon and planning accordingly. The switch to artificial plants and trees for landscaping is just one example of this. There are many others and we will discuss these as well, because understanding these will hopefully give you incentive to make your own changes in an ever changing world. Another thing people have changed is the way they clean themselves and clothing. A lot of people in California have resorted to taking shorter showers, because of the mandate set by the state and also because in general people are becoming more and more conscious of their environmental impact. As far as clothing goes, many families have started to mix loads to create less water waste with separate loads of colors, delicates, gray, etc. Like all changes, some people are happy to make the switch while others would prefer things remained the same. As far as landscaping goes, families or businesses who have already created an authentic setting may see these new laws as being too intrusive. With these climate changes it is hard to argue that letting people continue their lives like nothing is happening is in the best interest of the worldwide population. Having a lawn that is filled with real topiaries, hedges, and other landscape decoration pieces is becoming more and more a thing people frown on. Even some people that had these sorts of things before are realizing the waste that goes into keeping appearances, and opting for a less energy intensive solution. That solution is artificial plants and even more so artificial trees. With authentic trees the maintenance required to keep them in tip-top shape is huge, and even then with the extreme heat they are not guaranteed to keep a great appearance. Yes, authentic trees cannot be replicated 100%. You will miss the natural feel of the wood, the smell it gives off, and the overall presence of a living organism. This is why for many nature enthusiasts and landscape designers it is so hard to switch from authentic to artificial trees and foliage. In the end though, the change is something that is not only beneficial to our most precious resource but is also full of benefits and requires far less work. At Commercial Silk International we have made it our top priority that when creating faux trees we take these worries and put them to rest. With demand increasing every year as does the climate, we are constantly perfecting what we do to make sure every customer is satisfied. We have experienced engineers we are able to create sketches fast for our clients to approve before the actual manufacturing begins With our team of highly certified botanists we then can make sure every detail of the tree is accounted for, from bark to the overhanging branches. Our sculptors are great at getting the most out of the materials we use so that the final product is as realistic as possible. The best part about our team is that they know how to build most any variety of tree, so no matter what you are looking for you are sure to find it. If you are a California or Florida resident you may be looking more into faux palm trees to match the surrounding landscape. We have made many artificial phoenix, sago, fan, and areca palm trees for numerous clients. What’s more is that we have technologies in place to protect specific trees such as these. Like we talked about earlier, in extreme heat nothing is safe. Even authentic trees tend to wither and die after too much exposure. For palms that are native to these areas there shouldn’t be too much worry as they have adapted and can withstand the beating sun. If you are switching to artificial plants though then you will need some extra protection to ensure that it lasts for years on end. With PermaLeaf® technology this is possible, as it is our patented and highly regarded chemical blend that protects all foliage and greenery from UV rays. Even with all the benefits artificial trees have to offer they still can experience extreme fading in the right setting. In places with extreme heat and sun these trees will begin to fade, granted after many years of exposure. Our products are built to last so it is not something that’s immediate, but to make sure they do not fade for the time spent in extreme sun then this is recommended. Artificial versus authentic trees have their pros and cons, but longevity is something that can be assured with faux trees and cannot with the real thing. Also, in a time where our water supply is dwindling each and every day the need for more people to use artificial plants becomes greater and greater. As people try to make less of an impact on the world around them it is imperative to find ways whether big or small to cut down on wastefulness, and as an artificial tree company that starts with landscaping.

10 ways to build your lawn for the summer

Umbrella Bay Leaf Tree hspace=

In today’s blog article we are looking ahead to summer. Yes, it may be too soon. But we are excited for the warm weather and you should be as well! With warm weather comes the landscaping projects and the loads of other outdoor activities. One of the most important parts of maintaining a great lawn is having a landscape that backs it up. We will use this time to look at some simple ways you can use artificial plants to build out a presentable landscape that will surely impress your neighbors and guests. With these steps you should be able to come up with an effective plan and execute it successfully. It does not take much effort once you have all the bases covered before you dive into the design process. The great thing about artificial plants is that there are endless options, but that can also be a problem in many cases. It can get overwhelming especially when using multiple products within Commercial Silk International’s product line, hopefully these tips will help alleviate all stresses.

1. Choose where you want to build your landscape

This may seem like an obvious step, but it will make all the difference once you are deep into the design process. Some popular places are the front entry of the house or in a secluded area in the middle of the yard like a garden. Maybe you want to go big and use hedges as fence material and cover the perimeter of your property. The placement of the product is crucial and must be the first thing you think about when preparing to use artificial plants.

2. Determine budget

We won’t go into much depth on this but it is good to have a budget when starting a large project such as this. Even if you don’t plan on going to crazy with your project, it is always good to know what you need to order to reach your goal. Always remember, with artificial plants you are making an investment since these will last for years. The benefits outweigh the costs in many cases which is why having a budget will help down the road.

3. Choose your theme

Depending on where your house is located or the decor that is already present will have a huge say into what your theme will be. With artificial plants you can go many routes in terms of colors and actual varieties. Using exotic type plants versus a more rustic style, or using white faux flowers versus yellow is what we are trying to get at here in terms of “theme”. As you go through the design process you will always be coming back to this to guide final decisions.

4. Choose varieties of flowers

If you are going to be using flowers primarily for your design, then determining what varieties is going to be huge for getting the landscape done within a reasonable time frame With so many varieties offered this can be difficult. Using the theme you came up with will make this a lot more simpler, and allow you to use a variety of different artificial flowers such as faux hydrangeas, ranunculus, sunflowers, calla lilies, etc.

5. Choose foliage

Now if you are going toward the hedge or topiary route with your lawn design, then you will have more limited options but it still won’t be easy. Who wants something this fun to be easy anyways? From artificial boxwood to fake cedar foliage you will have plenty of options to help make your lawn as unique as possible. Traditional faux boxwood will be most commonly recognized and provide the best appearance for many homes, but if you are trying to step out of the box then there is a lot of different options. Artificial juniper is less common and gives off a more “wood-like” vibe that can be very pleasing to many people.

6. Choose your types of topiaries

Now that you have picked the theme of your design and what foliage you are going to use, it’s time to look at the various topiary varieties that are offered. You can choose from your standard cone topiaries to spirals made from cones. There is also faux ball topiaries, triangle topiaries, and a more classy and modern square column topiary that is available. Each topiary variety comes with it’s own unique set of appeal in terms of design so reflecting back on your theme will be important during this step.

7. Choose your hedges

If you aren’t using topiaries maybe you are looking into the hedge component, which is one of the most popular design pieces for many landscape projects. With hedge products you are ensuring that your landscape remains a staple in the neighborhood for many years to come. No matter what type of hedge you use it is sure to stand out as it is a traditional part of lawn design.

8. Protect your products

With these products being placed outside you are going to want to make sure they are going to be safe from UV rays coming from the sun. Also, if you live in a cold climate and do not want to take them inside each winter, then you will need to have them protected from the cold and snow. With PermaLeaf® technology, our patented chemical blend, you can ensure these products remain intact for years on end.

9. Installation

Installing these items is a rather simple process for most projects. We have baseboards that are available for hedges and decorative pots for faux flowers/topiaries. With these tools the installation process should be the easiest part, since you’ve already determined your location for the artificial plants/flowers.

10. Review and correct

Lastly, you will want to review everything and make sure the theme and plants associated with it mesh. If you went through the process of all these steps this shouldn’t be needed. But just in case then correcting what needs to be corrected should be easy, and getting in touch with our experienced project managers will make it all the more easier.

How to make your clients visit again and again

Olive Branches / Roses hspace=

Today’s blog article we will discuss how to make clients come back to your business and want to even STAY there. This has always been the ultimate struggle many businesses face in a world where appearances are everything. We as a collective people put so much into first impressions, and justifiably so. When was the last time you met someone and they made a horrible first impression on you? Whether it was that they were rude, uncaring, or just plain unattractive that is always something that makes us repulsed..Now, think about the last time that same person was able to change it around and you ended up becoming really good friends? Maybe once if ever does that occur, and that’s because first impression ARE important. If you do not make a good first impression on a date, you most likely won’t have a second one. It’s a scary thought, but in reality that fear can bring out the best in us. There are many times people who are extremely nervous in situations end up killing it and making some of the best impressions. And why is this? Because, in those moments of nervousness and anxiety they “true” self emerges and most the time people respond well to genuineness no matter what. People are good at seeing through the crap and BS that gets thrown around constantly in today’s society. When someone shows their true self it is something that can’t be masked and is a sight to see. We say all this to simply say that it’s always important to put your best face as a first impression, but it’s also just as important to make sure it’s your true self. So now you should see how all of this relates to your business and decorations, right? Maybe not so much. Well, as a business looking to use artificial plants for decoration you need to know who you are before you even begin the design process. If you are a design firm or interior decorating consultant then this is easy for you, please save yourself time and stop reading. If you are a a small business then this information may be very beneficial. With artificial plants there are so many options that you could easily become overwhelmed. A very popular choice for adding uniqueness to any type of office are tropical faux plants, like artificial areca palms, sago palms, phoenix palms, etc. These types of fake plants are easy pieces to add to make clients and customers keep thinking about your business after they leave. A lasting impression is always what you strive for, and using the most exotic artificial plants is an easy way to achieve that. However, exotic plants are not for every business and some may need a more classy touch to bring a sense of formality to the area. To bring a more formal presence to your area, we offer many high-end faux floral arrangements that are sure to stick out. These arrangements include all types of artificial flower varieties within a highly decorative pot. These can be used sparingly or in excess whichever one works in making the business stand out. The setting for these artificial arrangements is crucial. Putting these out in the foyer area as people come into the office is always a good choice. Also, placing them on the meeting table or along the way to the conference area is sure to spark your customers interests. Some more ideas to give you and your business a jump-start on retaining and maintaining the customers you already have is to make an actual piece of greenery that acts as art. These are labelled as artificial green walls and are truly masterpieces in their own respect. Using faux boxwood, azalea, pearl grass, juniper, cedar, and ivy foliage you create something that will sure to get everyone talking. These have just become a popular trend in many design firms so it is clearly something that is somewhat newer and just beginning to become a hit. This is practically a surefire way of getting clients back into the office and also talking among their friends about what they just witnessed. As with most businesses, most of the time spent is meeting/conference rooms looking over graphs, spreadsheets, data. With that being said, it is always good to focus a lot of attention to these areas. An unconventional way to spice up a drab meeting room is to use faux ivy to hang along the walls, creating an almost classical and European type environment. With ivy foliage it is easy to decorate large or small rooms as these are a very versatile product. If that seems like too much then there are other options, such as mini faux fern bushes. Ferns go back to that exotic theme, but are subtle enough to bring attention to themselves while not being too aggressive. With fake ferns you also have the freedom to arrange them anyway you would like to make a perfect setting that is easily interchangeable. This is a great benefit that is often overlooked when designing with plants. Artificial plants can be manipulated and moved at will with a relative ease that you won’t find with authentic plants. This makes them a far superior option for businesses looking for just a few items, or if they are just testing out designs and plants but know it will take awhile for anything to be final. With faux arrangements, green walls, ivy, and all the other products we talked about it is quite simple to make multiple changes to the design within a week. This helps tremendously as time wears on and opinions or the office itself changes.

Hopefully this information helps you make a better informed decision when looking to decorate your new office for the potential of bringing and keeping customers. With artificial plants the task becomes easy, and your design process will have a lot less bumps along the way.

Everything planters

Halstead Rectangle hspace=

Today we will discuss something that has not yet come up in previous blogs but is an important part of and landscape design whether interior or exterior. The are quite literally the foundation to any great landscape design and the options are nearly as endless as the artificial plants that fill them. Today we will talk about planters. We will look at the more traditional styles that have been around for decades, but still have their uses in today’s modern world. The sizes and shapes are also something we will look at as we discuss planters and their many uses. As with most design the color also plays a huge factor in the design as many interior designers and architects know already. Hopefully with the knowledge and information provided in these next hundreds of words you can have a better idea of what to expect when purchasing planters for your design. Even though many times it is large commercial buildings and businesses (malls, corporate offices, airports, etc.) that use planters for their needs, resident homeowners can find worth in using planters as well. Nothing spells sophistication like having an arrangement displayed within a home that is placed in a fashionable planter. Planters are a truly integral part to design and since they come in both traditional and stylish varieties it is easy to make the case that anyone can use them. In residential homes these can be used as decoration pieces and stand alone pots. Many modern homes have these included within their walls and have had success in pulling out a very unique design because of it. Residential homes with pools or large outdoor patios can find planters useful in a variety of ways outdoors. If you are lining these areas with artificial trees or topiaries, planters become a necessity. Using planters to have these large artificial pieces placed in is crucial to the design and makeup of the outdoors design. Planters can also be used within a garden setting if you have a lot of artificial plants that need placement. Planters come in a wide variety of shapes, and the longer rectangular planters would be perfect for a garden-scape. Having your smaller artificial plants and flowers lined together in large planters is a great design idea that will last for years.

Looking at more commercial design projects the use of planters varies greatly. Some businesses tend for a minimalist look and because of this only use small planters and have them scattered throughout to make it less intense. Many malls use the long rectangular planters as they can fill more artificial plants and foliage in them and create privacy barriers. A good example of this are the food courts inside of many malls. Many times they just have tables laid out everywhere and this creates more of a community feel when you are out shopping. In many cases this brings back memories of sitting at the lunchroom at school. However, more often malls are using large and long planters to have filled with any assortment of faux plants to create more privacy for their guest. Like we have discussed before using artificial plants allows for them to not have to worry so much about the maintenance of the plants and how long they will last. With a stylish container and a semi authentic counterpart this is an easy solution for creating privacy within a large space. Moving onto corporate offices, they tend to use planters and artificial plants inside of them the most. This could be mainly due to the fact that these spaces need more greenery to make work not so drab and boring for the employees inside. With greenery you must also have some sort of style. Most artificial plants that are purchased come in a standard black plastic pot. Now this is a good choice for people using it within their bedrooms or on the windowsill in front of the sink, but many times you are looking for something that stands out more and can be a central piece to your decor. With that in mind many corporate offices tend to look more into the planter options that the actual faux plants that they go in. With that being said let us talk a bit about different planter styles and how they fit inside certain designs.

Modern planters are what are primarily used in both households and commercial spaces. With modern planters you are staying up with the trends of today’s style and ensuring that you will stick out or stay up with what is trendy. Modern planters have a very minimalist design structure, and tend to be a very solid color of either brights (yellow, red, blue) or dulls (grey, white, black). At Commercial Silk International we make many different types of modern planters, but the ones we found most popular are our Alban Sphere planters. These are a very round shape that is very in tune to the modern style. Other very popular planters that evoke modern vibes are the Harrison Urn and the Smithtown Triangle Sculpture. Both of these are very unique in the way they are presented and because of that will be sure to make whatever artificial plant you place in it stand out. Another very interesting modern planter that has been a hot commodity recently are lighted planters. These are great for places that are somewhat dim lit but could use the extra light to the dark ambiance. Think nightclubs, bars, and concert venues. Having greenery inside these decorative planters is always interesting because the light plays off the faux foliage well and gives it a mystical feeling.

So hopefully this information was a good start to help you understand how planters are used and what types are available. With so many varieties and different colors it is almost overwhelming, but getting in contact with us at Commercial Silk International can help you get in the right direction. In the world of artificial plants and foliage planters are a necessity so do not forget to add this on your list as you continue the design process!

Spring season is here

English Ivy Green Wall hspace=

At Commercial Silk International we are finally good about the weather. Having our main office in Minnesota means we have to endure long drawn out winters that seem to never end. Lately, the winters have not been as bad and we have been able to come out of them fairly quickly. Spring is always a great time of year and it definitely shows on people’s faces. People are outside and they are happy to be around the freshness of the new season. The yard work starts to pick back up again, people start to go on daily runs, and general activity and busyness is noticeable. With this in mind we can see how landscaping becomes a huge task at hand for many people who begin to enjoy spring. With more and more people using landscapes to decorate the front lawns of their homes and other areas where greenery is needed, we must look at what types of artificial products can be used to decorate the outside lawns of most homes. In many cases people like to use some sort of artificial shrubbery in a garden to make it more full and feel like there is substance. Artificial fern bushes and shrubs are a great answer to that. With fern shrubs you get the fullness of bushes while also giving off an exotic vibe. There are multiple varieties of faux fern bushes that can be used in any spring type garden regardless of what you already have as a landscape. There is the faux sword ferns that make a great covering while also being very scarce in many gardens so you are sure to have a unique setting. Then their are artificial yucca plants, that do not have as much of a covering but still are great plants that evoke feelings of living in tropical paradise. These two varieties of faux foliage are great in any open pace and are useful for making a garden come to life.

Spring also is a time where the color green really starts to come alive and be a prominent color is many places. The grass starts to grow and become more and more lush. If you live in a cold climate then the trees will start to gain their leaves back and grow in abundance. Spring is a time for bright colors and a feeling of life being poured back into nature. Green is obviously a staple when it comes to the colors usually pictured when the word “spring” is said. Others include yellow, pink, purple, red, etc. All these colors make a great addition for any landscape and will bring out the best in whatever design you are planning to go with. A good place to start for bringing green into a space is using faux hedges as decoration pieces. Hedges are great for making any space shine bright in the spring sun. With hedges you can make a wonderful landscape with very minimal work. What’s more is that hedges can be built to fit a specific size, so whatever project you are working on there is no need to feel as though your order cannot be filled. Springing into a new design endeavor can be very stressful and extremely time consuming. At Commercial Silk International we have extremely capable individuals who are ready to hear your ideas and expand on them even further. With over 30 years of expertise these landscape projects have become a breeze for us to handle and complete within your specified time frames. Using faux boxwood foliage you can get a jump-start on the spring season and add realistic color to your home and garden. Even business looking to liven up their entrance or interior decor can get in on this action. Many businesses go through design changes each year, and there is no better time to spice things up than at the beginning of a brand new season. Spring is a great way to tell customers and clients that you mean business, and using artificial hedges to accomplish that is simple yet effective. With business the first impression is always the most important. In spring, business tends to lull as people give more of their attention to the outdoors and amazing weather.

You don’t only have to use boxwood foliage when creating the hedges for either your home or business decor. As mentioned before spring is the season where colors bloom in all varieties. You see the bright reds of the traditional rose speckled throughout gardens across the country. On Mother’s day you may see this even more as people celebrate the maternal bond they share with their own moms. The simple yellow of the daisy flower appears en masse as April showers give life to barren prairies. As you drive around the city you will see from people’s windows the purple orchid beginning to break away and give life to the new season. All these colors and many more are found as spring begins to show more and more. You can incorporate these same colors using artificial foliage and plants within your home and garden. With pink, white, and yellow faux azalea foliage the front steps of your home can be decorated with astounding color for years to come. As spring continues to this season be sure to look at the wide assortment of options Commercial Silk International has for artificial plants and foliage. We are sure that you will be able to find something that will make the garden of your home and interior have new life just as spring gives new life to us. From using an artificial topiary bush to line along a fence, to creating a nice boundary with colorful faux azalea hedges there is sure to be a solution for you to make an everlasting design within your home. Do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you have regarding our artificial foliages or plant products, we are glad to help.
