This supermarket chain was looking for a way to increase the day-to-day happiness of its employees in hopes of improving employee retention. Their efforts included a great number of unusual perks and entertainment options, as well as a complete transformation of their environment to represent a shift in attitude. Plantscape was tasked with helping them mask the ugly and industrial appearance of bear columns by creating a handmade, hand-detailed custom tree with a massive trunk that could fully disguise the column. Installation was completed in time for their grand opening, and the tree served as a center to their new, bright atmosphere.
