Loblaws

Loblaw, the largest food distributor in Canada, was looking for a way to incorporate lifelike greenery in their produce station, but quickly found that actual live plants were not feasible for risk of pests and maintenance. Plantscape was then contracted to construct iconic sugar maple trees to dot the area, providing customers with a fresh yet familiar atmosphere and a visually appealing sense of scale. The trees were hand sculpted from real life reference to create a convincing and top quality appearance, and each tree was specially modified for the spot it would end up in.
